Here we go, steelers

Harold’s Corral is the official Heinz Field West!

One of the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers bar in the Nation!

30 years of heinz field west at harold's corral in cave creek

At Harold’s Corral in Cave Creek, Arizona, cowboy boots hang from the rafters while over 800 fans pack the house every single game day. And when the Steelers play in the Super Bowl, Harold’s explodes with more than 5,000 towel-whipping, black & gold diehards—one of the biggest Steelers crowds anywhere outside of Pittsburgh!

For more than 30 years, Harold’s has been the proud home of the Black & Gold Zone, with over 3,100 fans officially registered in our Steelers Fan Club. Along the way, we’ve been honored to host legendary Steelers greats:

  • Hall of Famers: Mel Blount, Dermontti Dawson, Mike Wagner
  • Steelers Legends & Champions: Santonio Holmes, Andy Russell, L.C. Greenwood
  • Fan Favorites & Personal Friends: Louis Lipps, Merril Hoge, and Mel Blount

The Pittsburgh Steelers organization has recognized Harold’s as one of the best Steelers bars in the nation—and we’re proud to say we’ve given back too. Over the years, Harold’s has helped raise more than $300,000 for local charities, including the Foothills Food Bank and the Mel Blount Youth Home.

This place is massive—with room for 600 fans inside and another 200 on our outdoor patio. Every TV is tuned in, the beer is flowing, and the energy is pure Pittsburgh.

We’re not bandwagon fans. We’ve got Steelers newsletters dating back to 1995 and decades of Black & Gold tradition to prove it.

HERE WE GO, STEELERS!

What a year. What an ending. And what a new beginning.

As in life, all things eventually come to an end.

After the game Monday night—watching, cheering, hoping our Pittsburgh Steelers would find a way—it just wasn’t there. The defense showed flashes of brilliance. The offense struggled, lacking playmakers and inconsistent play-calling, and an aging quarterback facing a relentless defensive front. Aaron Rodgers did the best he could with the weapons he had, but we couldn’t run the ball, and we couldn’t stop the run. In this league, that’s the difference.

Still, I truly enjoyed this season—the challenges, the grind, and the effort shown by the players, the coaching staff, and spending time with all of you each gameday. I want to also give a big shout-out to the man, the myth, the legend, Jim Johnson, and his assistant volunteers from the Foothills food bank, Sharon and Ron Bykerk, and Jen Edelhauser. Monday night, we raised over $3000! Thank you to all who participated Monday night and over the year, helping us raise close to $30,000 this year for the Foothills Food Bank.

Seeing Mike Tomlin step down is both sad and exciting at the same time. As in life, things come to an end, making room for new challenges and new possibilities. Coach Tomlin was a blessing to this organization and one of the best coaches to ever wear the headset. Nineteen seasons without a losing record speaks for itself. In the end, he simply didn’t have the playmakers, especially at the quarterback position, to push this team further.
Thank you, Coach Tomlin. You are a legend and forever part of the greatness of Pittsburgh Steelers history.

Just as it was when Chuck Noll retired after the 1991 season, this moment—though emotional—is what’s best for the organization. Coach Tomlin recognized that, and that awareness alone speaks volumes about who he is.

To Steeler Nation and Harold’s Black and Gold Zone—thank you to every fan who makes us who we are. The best fans. The best Steeler bar. The best Steeler fan club. We are proud to stand with the Pittsburgh Steelers faithful.

Always a fan. Never-ending.

2026 — a new beginning, a new chapter for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

TABLE SLIDE

It all started back in 1991, when just a handful of diehards — 4 to 10 guys — gathered at Harold’s to watch the Steelers.

By 1995, that small crew had become the official Harold’s Black & Gold Club — and the rest is towel-whipping history!
The first-ever Table Slide went down on November 9th, 1998, during a Monday Night win over the Packers after a Charles Johnson touchdown… and 27 years later, the tradition is still going strong!
With 650+ fans every game day and crowds over 5,000 in the postseason, Harold’s BLACK AND GOLD ZONE truly is Heinz Field West!
